Student Intended Admission Information

As what type of student do you intend to apply to UNC Asheville?*

First-Year: Applicants who are either in high school at the time of applying or have not received college credit since graduating from high school.

Note: Students graduating from a North Carolina Early College with a completed Associate's Degree have the option to apply as either first-year or transfer.

Transfer: Applicants who have attended college after graduating from high school and seek enrollment in an undergraduate program OR North Carolina Early College Graduates who will earn an Associate's Degree prior to enrolling at UNC Asheville and choose to apply as a transfer student.

Post Baccalaureate: Applicants who already hold a baccalaureate degree from UNC Asheville or other accredited institutions (minimum 2.0 GPA) and wish to pursue a second baccalaureate degree.

Readmission: Applicants who were previously enrolled at UNC Asheville as a degree-seeking student, left the University, and are applying to return without having attended elsewhere.

Returning Transfer: Applicants who were previously enrolled at UNC Asheville as a degree-seeking student, left the University, and are applying to return after having attended elsewhere.
